Youth Ministry 101 Youth Leader Contest
Rules:
1. Students submit an
essay of 100 words or less.
“Why I have the best youth leader.”
2. Can email them to
getreal@wgrc.com
or send via postal service to station address – Get Real
c/o WGRC 101 Armory Blvd. Lewisburg, PA 17837.
3. Leaders that qualify
are any adults 21yrs or older that work as a youth
pastor or youth director full time or part time; or any
volunteer.
4. Each student should
only nominate an individual leader once; although a
student may nominate more than one individual and more
than one student may nominate the same individual.
5. Essays need to be
received by Thursday 8/7/2008 and the winner will be
announced on Get Real 8/10/08. Be sure to include
the contact info for the student and the leader.
6. Be sure to listen to
the Youth Ministry 101 series that airs every Sunday
night on Get Real from 7/13-8/3/08. Guests include
Duffy Robbins, Walt Mueller, Jeanne Mayo, and Josh
Griffen. All national youth ministry speakers.
7. Prize to be awarded:
Free registration to the Group Magazine/Simply Youth
ministry 2009 National Youth Ministry Conference in
Columbus, OH (Feb. 27th-March 2nd, 2009) a $359.00
value. Winner to be responsible for food, lodging,
and transportation. Also winner will be asked to
join Dave ‘n’ Jana as a guest on Get Real.
8. If leader chosen not
able to confirm ability to attend conference by
8/30/08 then will forfeit prize to next in line and
process will continue allowing each person ability to
accept or not. Registration must be submitted to
Group by 10/30/08.
