THE WGRC ANNOUNCERS
[]
Larry
Weidman, Founder and General Manager
Larry’s vision for a contemporary Christian radio station
in Central Pennsylvania grew out of his interest in radio as
a young person and coming to understand how radio is an
effective tool in communicating the Christian way of life.
Larry is married to Janet who is the co-founder of WGRC, and
they are the parents of three, and grandparents of four.
Larry and Janet live in Lewisburg. Larry, in addition to
being the general manager, hosts the morning show and is the
primary host of the award-winning WGRC talk-show, “The
Matter At Hand.” Larry brings a unique perspective to radio
having been raised on a dairy farm near Millville and
spending fourteen years in the dairy and food processing
industry. Larry’s radio career began in 1966 at WPGM in
Danville. He is a 1976 graduate of the University of South
Carolina and worked as a news and public affairs director at WMHK in Columbia, South Carolina for four years,

Don Casteline,
Operations Manager/Sports Director
As an avid
sports fan, Don's childhood dream was to become the next
Baltimore sports play-by-play announcer. He's still waiting on
that one…
Don
graduated from Messiah College (Grantham, PA) with a
Radio/TV/Film degree spending two years at their satellite
campus at Temple University in Philadelphia. There, at WRTI,
Don did play-by-play for women’s basketball, covered pro
sports, news, etc. He later got his professional start
selling commercial air-time while doing some part-time
announcing work in Central PA. Don started full-time doing
news/sports with WGRC in March of 1998. Today Don
joins Larry in managing the day to day operations of WGRC.
Don and his
wife, Lora, adopted two children in March
of 2000. He also loves to spend time on the basketball court and
making other people laugh (hopefully not at the same
time!!).

David
Nelson, Midday Music Host / Producer
I frequently think of the song by Mercy Me "Here Am I "
from Isaiah 6:8. "Also I heard the voice of the Lord,
saying: "Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?" Then I
said, "Here am I! Send me". I am being used by God
everyday to reach people with the Life-Changing Gospel of
Jesus Christ !!!! God has put me here and what an awesome
feeling that is. It's also a tremendous blessing to be surrounded by
a great staff and to be closer to my family. As we
start each day, we can listen to his voice, and say to
ourselves......Today I can make a difference in someone's life.
